For replacement work, send the existing marking when readable, pitch, assembled width, edge/hinge photographs, sprocket tooth count, bore or shaft information and quantity. For a new conveyor, add the conveyed product, load, speed, temperature, wet or dry conditions, curve or incline geometry and transfer requirements.
Include a top view, underside, edge/hinge view, drive-end view and any readable model marking. A simple dimensioned sketch is welcome.
What to send for a replacement
Model/series marking if visible, plus clear overall and close-up photographs.
Pitch, assembled width, thickness or edge profile, hinge/rod details and any critical mounting dimensions.
Sprocket tooth count, bore, shaft size, keyway or idler arrangement and photographs showing engagement.
Product, load, speed, temperature, moisture, cleaning, accumulation, curves and transfer conditions.
Use a measurement-first RFQ
When the original part number is unknown, measured geometry is the fastest route to a useful technical review. Mark dimensions with units and identify exactly where each value was taken.
If the conveyor is down, photographs of the drive and return ends can help prioritize which measurements should be taken first.
